Buildable blush in cute packaging
I'll start with the positives: I like the packaging. It's cute, it gives me vibes of the 90s and 2000's, when I grew up. I really like the translucent lid. I like the color of the product and the range provided is good, I think, but I"m fair-skinned, so I can't speak on that in broader terms.
The negatives: so, the wand is smaller and that means you have to use more product to potentially get the blush effect you want out of this. Next, the product-to-lid ratio is almost Nars-levels of "why, though?" The lid is massive and the wand head is small. I don't get why that decision was made. Another competitor brand, Rare Beauty, has those famous blushes with larger doe feet wands and I am more comfy using a similar pink from that brand than I am this one due to that wand issue. That said, the blush itself is also subtle, so I odn't get why you have such a small applicator if the goal is to have this be buildable to encourage people to refill.
I am fencing on this hard. I will take it with me when I head home this weekend and see if I adjust to it more, but for right now, it's just not a favorite.
