I struggle with finding my perfect shade because i have olive toned skin. I found this foundation through a reviewer, so i bought it and wow! It blends perfectly into my skin. I’ve never had a shade fit me so perfectly. Thank you so much about-face, please never stop making this foundation 😭
Bought this because it’s one of the only foundations with a fair olive shade (which is a great color match, if a tiny bit dark), come to find out that it’s one of the best formulas I’ve ever used. It makes my skin look BEAUTIFUL, and the coverage is super buildable. I was using the BeautyCounter Skin Twin Featherweight foundation before and even with primer, setting powder, AND setting spray, it would slide off my skin and look super patchy by lunch time... And the coverage sucked, but I couldn’t really fault it as it’s advertised as super lightweight.
But the About Face foundation stays in place all day and looks essentially as beautiful at the end of the day as it does when I first put it on. I do need to powder a bit throughout the day in oilier areas, but that’s to be expected. My absolute new favorite foundation!!!
I've been searching for my perfect match and finally found it! I never realized I was olive until I tried this randomly. It also doesn't even feel like I'm wearing anything. I have really oily skin and this worked great for me, new holy grail :)
i’m not super skilled at makeup and i’ve tried so many foundations and they’ve all been disappointing in some way. I heard good things about this one and figured i’d give it a try and i love it!! I have dry skin but can get sweaty around nose/ mouth. i’ve found that other foundations accentuate dryness that wasn’t visible before applying the product. the performer foundation doesn’t dry my skin out, and it blends beautifully and so easily: you could probably fully blend it out with your fingers if you wanted to. I apply it with the applicator, spread it out a bit with my fingers, then blend with a slightly damp beauty blender to speed up the process and make it look more flawless. it works like a dream i’m so happy with this foundation. took me a couple tries to find my shade but about face was good about the return process. you can totally build up the coverage or apply a more sheet layer. i’d say this is super beginner friendly but also performers better than very high end foundations!
