I’ve recently started getting into makeup after trying it on and off for years. My skin is very sensitive and can be acne prone and because of this, it makes me stay away from makeup.
I bought this foundation on a whim and because I liked the packaging. The shade match is great for me; one of my current, biggest struggles. Once I figured out what works best underneath it, the formula lays nicely and is buildable with a dewy finish. I’m oily/combo but the finish after wearing the foundation for a day doesn’t look greasy. My initial thoughts were pretty neutral, I hadn’t noticed any major differences BUT after today…lemme tell you how much I love this product.
I decided to wear some makeup for work (a rarity) and go for a Sade look. Kept everything pretty natural and wanted to cover up a few pimples and red bumps I woke up with. So I used this foundation ONLY as a cover up because I remembered it’s supposed to have skincare properties. Being an anti Halsey fan, I wanted to put it to the test and chile’…the way this has turned me into a fan. I’m sitting on my couch writing this but when I got home and looked in the mirror, my bumps and pimples were GONE/significantly smaller because of this foundation. She knows her makeup and I love her for it. Please test out this foundation. Oily skin approved.

This is a great lightweight foundation for everyday wear for normal/combo/dry skin. Not for oily skin from what I've read.
This foundation requires you to be diligent on your skincare as prep for the foundation.
I recommend to pair this with the Saem color concealer corrector before the foundation as it creates a perfect base :) and less product u have to put on.
This is the first foundation to have my olive skin matched 💖💖 and doesn't create horrible smile lines as other high end brands have
This is an unbelievably moisturizing and hydrating foundation that glides on and looks completely natural. After so many years, I finally found a foundation match in the Shade L2Olive & LM2Olive. I had never heard of About Face before now. Please continue making these sought after shades because most other brands do not carry the true Olive shades. Your formula is amazing as well, works well for my dry skin. The only recommendation I have is to switch to a pump bottle because it is a bit hard to pull the foot out. Fenty makes a similar bottle, but with a pump.
